Permanent Secretary

 

Prior to her appointment, she served as Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (November 2019 – August 2020); Deputy Permanent Secretary (Corporate and Industry) at the Ministry of Energy, Manpower and Industry (July 2018 – Nov 2019) ;Deputy Permanent Secretary (IT, E-Government & Industry) at the Energy and Industry Department, Prime Minister's Office (March 2017 – 2019); Deputy Permanent Secretary (Trade) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (March 2014 – March 2017); Director at the Trade Development Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (January 2013 – March 2014); and Deputy Director at the Department of International Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (August 2006 – January 2013).  From 1995 – 2005, she also held various other positions in Ministry of Finance, Prime Minister's Office and Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources.

She obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Public Policy and Administration from Universiti Brunei Darussalam in 1994. 

She was conferred Excellent Service Medal (P.I.K.B) in 2007, The Most Blessed Order of Setia Negara Brunei 4^th Class (P.S.B) in 2011, The Most Honourable Order of Seri Paduka Mahkota Brunei 3^rd Class (S.M.B) in 2016, Golden Jubilee Medal (Silver) in 2017 and, The Most Blessed Order of Setia Negara Brunei 3^rd Class (S.N.B) in 2021.

Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab is married and  is blessed with 4 children. She enjoys reading in her spare time.
